چکیده

Abstract National roads are the main arteries in road transport infrastructure. Therefore, all agencies or authorities responsible of infrastructure, pay attention to management systems. Albania is experiencing an increase infrastructure investments and maintenance this network. There have been some attempts establish national secondary These systems attempt achieve different objectives, such as provision adequate level service, preservation etc. A good R oad sset M anagement S ystem (RAMS), helps carry out actions inventory, storage assets well as, supports decision-making process. At present, there several data collection devices applications that job efficiently. The purpose paper present analysis use comparison equipment Cell Phone Based Systems (MiniROMDAS, PaveProf-V2 RoadLab_Pro) used for pavement collection, necessary calculation International Roughness Index (IRI), along network Albania. made, by analyzing results obtained a 20 km long segment Albania, using various above-mentioned technologies. Also, overview currently available technologies providing information could assist managers establishing appropriate program given.

Automated Pavement Distress Data Collection and Analysis:

This paper describes a 3-D automated pavement distress data collection and analysis system based on NRC’s Biris sensor technology. The paper introduces the problem to be solved, the selected design criteria, and the adopted solution to monitor the quality of road surfaces. The system geometry for the acquisition of the threedimensional coordinates of pavement surface distresses is presented. Mu...

Management aspects of road pavement rehabilitation

The optimization of a pavement management system necessitates the knowledge on the actual values of pavement condition parameters, actual pavement condition improvement as related to the use of various rehabilitation strategies, and scope of pavement deterioration before and after rehabilitation. The data for six pavement condition parameters (bearing capacity, unevenness, rut depth, macro text...

Long Term Pavement Performance Program Protocol for Calibrating Traffic Data Collection Equipment

The LTPP program acknowledges that weigh-in-motion (WIM) and automatic vehicle classification (AVC) are not mature technologies. As such, participating agency and site-specific conditions may legitimately warrant the use of procedures other than those presented below. In addition, LTPP recognizes that participating agencies use a variety of types of traffic data collection equipment and have di...

ROAD DATA INFORMATION SYSTEM; BUDAPEST CASE STUDY

Budapest Közút is developing ROad Data Information System based on mobile laser scanning since 2013. All public roads (cca. 5000 km) are surveyed by MLS (Riegl VMX450) in survey grade accuracy and all visible road assets has been digitized and loaded to a complex 3D GIS environment. Since the first full coverage had been done in 2014 the whole city has also been updated - being one of the few l...
